Adirondack Guides & Taxidermists

JamieSince 1985, Jamie Frasier, owner of Adirondack Mountain & Stream Guide Service, has been leading outdoor adventures throughout the Adirondacks and even as far as Alaska, where he worked as a guide and packer. When he’s not guiding, Jamie stays busy running Frasier Taxidermy, preserving the memories of successful hunts for clients.

Over the years, the business has grown to include a dedicated team of experienced seasonal guides. If you're looking for an Adirondack guide, our team is passionate about the great outdoors and the people we guide. While we always strive for success, we believe that having a great time in the wilderness is just as important. The fish won’t always bite, and the weather won’t always cooperate, but those moments are all part of the adventure—and the memories that last a lifetime!

There’s a certain way the Adirondacks get into you. Maybe it’s the stillness of a pond at first light, the sound of a paddle cutting through calm water, or the crunch of leaves underfoot on a cold fall morning. For over 41 years, Adirondack Mountain & Stream Guide Service has been helping people experience those moments — not as tourists passing through, but as part of the landscape itself.

We’re not just here for the easy days — and truthfully, the Adirondacks don’t offer many of those. The weather changes, the fish don’t always cooperate, and the woods have a way of humbling even the most experienced outdoorsmen. But that’s part of what makes this place special. It’s in those moments — when the fog lifts off the water, when a buck track cuts across fresh snow, when a fire crackles at camp after dark — that people start to understand what draws us back here day after day.

At Adirondack Mountain & Stream, we believe the best trips aren’t measured by numbers, but by the experience itself. Time spent on the water, in the woods, and around a fire has a way of staying with you long after the trip is over. Whether you’re here for a day or a week, we’re proud to share a piece of the Adirondacks with you — the way it’s meant to be experienced.
